Photographer Cass Corrado specializes in Portrait Photography, Event Photography, Architectural Photography,and Landscape Photography. 

 

Bio: I have been inspired by Photography ever since I was about 10 years old. I was in a bookstore with my mom, and I opened a copy of Annie Leibovitz's Book "Photographs 1970-1990". I did not get to look at the content for very long before it was snatched from my hands for being "too mature", but the images played on in my head. I loved how the portraits were whimsical yet gritty, unfinished but yet polished. I decided to start with a polaroid, and I worked my way up to a disposable camera. I sifted through every copy of Vogue and Vanity Fair that I could get my hands on. Every day my love for editorial photography grew and grew.

 

Unfortunately as an adult life's responsibilities got in the way, and while I was always taking photos of my family, I had lost the time and ability to get back out there and show the world what I could do. In December of 2012 a good friend of mine encouraged me to try a "30 Day Photo Challenge" on Facebook. It started on January 1, 2013. On Day 16 I had to capture "long exposure". I decided to take a photograph of my son painting with light. There was something so brilliant about that technique that after months of research, it lead me to where I'am today. As a Photographer I grow every day. I am always researching new techniques, and love to implement them into all of my portraits.
